Learning from Home: Corridor for Nature

(1)
Canals and rivers are often referred to as corridors for nature and are home to hundreds of species of plants and animals. This project encourages children to think about how they could re-design an area of garden or outside space to create a Corridor for Nature at home. The ‘Corridor for Nature’ bundle provides everything children need to research, design and build a canal-themed habitat including an activity plan to structure learning. It’s ideal for curriculum-linked study, supporting science, geography and PSHE or as an exciting holiday project.
